Welcome to BookFlix, a service provided by Publifye AS ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the BookFlix application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

BookFlix provides access to over 15,000 AI-curated digital books with the following features:

• Offline reading capabilities
• Progress synchronization across devices
• Customizable reading experience
• Educational content suitable for all ages

2. Subscription Terms

Downloaded books are only accessible with an active subscription. If your subscription expires, you will lose access to downloaded content until you renew.

3. Usage Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Share, distribute, or resell downloaded books
• Use automated tools to download content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction

4. Intellectual Property

All books available through BookFlix are AI-curated content owned by Publifye AS. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only. This license is valid only during your active subscription period.

5. Content Guidelines

Our AI-curated library is designed to be:

• Family-friendly with no explicit content
• Educational and informative
• Suitable for readers of all ages
• Factually accurate to the best of our knowledge

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and current

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUBLIFYE AS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

8. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the service at any time
• Change subscription prices with 30 days notice
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice
• Add or remove books from the library

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Norway.

11. Apple-Specific Terms

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store:

• Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to Account Settings after purchase
